But with the advent of the IT Boom in Bangalore, and the establishment of ITPL, Kundalahalli, a small place with close proximity to Marathahalli and Whitefield, witnessed a popuplation boom.
A team of highly spirited individuals felt the need for a community of Malayalees residing in and around Kundalahalli. The aim was to preserve and pass on the culture and tradition of Kerala to the young generation. With the main objective of promoting and protecting the unity and co-operation of Malayalees residing in and around Kundalahalli, KKS was registered as a non-profit organization on November 11th, 2011.
